Website, app and overlays
Which part of CricFlow to use for each job, and how they stay in sync.
CricFlow has three surfaces. They all talk to the same servers, so anything done in one shows up in the others within a second or two.
The three surfaces
| Surface | Best for | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Website and dashboard | Organising: tournaments, fixtures, auctions, overlays and exports. Big screens and keyboards. | cricflow.in |
| Mobile app | Scoring at the ground, streaming from the phone camera, following matches and notifications. | Android and iOS |
| Overlays | Score and auction graphics on a live stream. | A browser source inside OBS or vMix |
Which one should I use?
For scoring
The app is built for scoring at the ground: big buttons, works one-handed, and keeps you signed in. The web scoring screen works well on a laptop or tablet. Both write to the same match, so you can switch devices between overs.
For auctions
Run the auction from a laptop on the website — the control room is designed for a keyboard. Franchise owners bid from their own phones in a browser, and the big-screen board goes on a projector or TV.
For streaming
Stream straight from the app with the phone camera, or use OBS on a laptop with CricFlow overlays on top. See Streaming and overlays.
Staying in sync
- Every ball, bid and setting is saved on CricFlow's servers the moment it happens — not on your device.
- Screens that are open update themselves live. If a connection drops, they catch up when it returns.
- Signing in with the same account on the website and the app gives you the same teams, matches and tournaments.
