FAQ
Quick answers to the questions we hear most.
General
Is CricFlow free?
Yes for teams, tournaments, live scoring and live match pages. Running an auction and the broadcast overlay controls need a pass. See Plans and passes.
Do I need the app?
No. Everything works on the website. The app is better for scoring at the ground, streaming from your phone, and notifications.
Does it work for tennis-ball and box cricket?
Yes. Choose tennis as the ball type, and Box/Turf Cricket or Pair Cricket as the match type in the app.
Scoring
I scored a ball wrong. Can I fix it?
Yes — tap Undo. It reverses the ball completely. See Undo and corrections.
Can two people score the same match?
Yes. Add a match admin. CricFlow makes sure the same ball is never counted twice. See Admins and permissions.
What happens if my phone loses signal while scoring?
Every ball is saved on the server as you score it. If a ball doesn't go through, you'll see an error — score it again when the signal returns. Nothing already saved is lost.
Why doesn't the super over count towards NRR?
ICC rules exclude super overs from net run rate, and CricFlow follows them. See Points table and stats.
Auctions
Do franchise owners need a CricFlow account?
No. They bid with a Team ID and 5-digit password. See Franchise bidding.
Can a franchise spend more than its budget?
No. CricFlow refuses any bid or sale a franchise can't afford, or that would overfill its squad.
What is RTM?
Right to Match lets a player's previous franchise match the winning bid in a second-season auction. See Retained and pre-allotted players.
How do players pay a registration fee?
They pay to your UPI QR code and upload a screenshot, and you approve them. See Registration fees.
Account
Why doesn't the app ever sign me out?
On purpose: the app stays signed in until you tap Sign out, so you're never logged out at the ground. Sign out yourself on shared phones.
How do I delete my account?
Still stuck? Our team usually replies within 24–48 hours.
