Create a tournament

Set up a tournament: category, format, overs, dates and branding.

A tournament groups teams and matches together and keeps the points table, leaderboards and stats for the whole event.

Create the tournament

Open New tournament
Go to Dashboard›Tournaments and create a new tournament, or use the app's Tournaments tab.
Fill in the details
The fields are described below. Only a few are required.
Save
The tournament page opens. Next, add teams.

Field	What to enter
Name	The tournament's public name, e.g. “Champions League Summer ’26”.
Category	Community, Corporate, School, College, Club, Franchise League, Women's, Veterans and more.
Format	How the tournament is structured, e.g. league or knockout.
Region	The state or region it is played in.
Ball type	Leather, tennis or other.
Total overs	Default overs per innings for matches in this tournament, e.g. 20.
Powerplay	Powerplay overs, e.g. 6.
Start and end date	When the tournament runs.

Tab	What it shows
Matches	Scheduled and completed matches.
Leaderboard	The MVP plus top batters, bowlers and fielders.
Points Table	Standings with net run rate. See Points table and stats.
Stats	Tournament-wide stats.
Teams	The teams in the tournament.
Player Auction	The tournament's auction. See Auctions.
About	The tournament details.

Editing or deleting the tournament is available to its organiser from the tournament page.
