Match formats

Six-ball overs, five-ball sets (The Hundred) and bowler limits.

Six-ball overs

The standard format for T20, ODI-style and box-cricket matches. Choose any number of overs and an optional per-bowler limit.

Five-ball sets (The Hundred)

CricFlow also supports the five-ball-set format used in The Hundred:

  • Each set is five legal balls.
  • A bowler may bowl five or ten balls in a row.
  • The ends change every ten balls, not after every set.
  • Scores are shown in sets, and bowler limits count sets.

In the app, choose The Hundred as the match type in match details. Matches created inside a tournament that is set up for The Hundred use it automatically. Everything else — extras, wickets, undo, super overs — works the same.

Other match types

The app also offers Limited Overs, Box/Turf Cricket, Pair Cricket and Test Match as match types.

Bowler limits

Set the most overs (or sets) one bowler may bowl when you create the match. CricFlow blocks a bowler who has used their quota and never lets the same bowler bowl two overs in a row.
