Scoring

Score a ball

Runs, boundaries, strike rotation, overs and the scoring screen.

The scoring screen shows the score, the batters at the crease, the current bowler, and this over's balls. Below them are the buttons you tap for each delivery.

Score runs

Tap the number of runs scored off the bat: 0 (dot ball), 1, 2, 3, 4 or 6. The batters change ends automatically on odd runs.

End of the over

After the sixth legal ball, CricFlow ends the over, swaps the batters' ends and asks for the next bowler.

  • The bowler who just bowled can't bowl the next over.
  • A bowler who has reached the match's per-bowler limit can't be picked.
  • Wides and no-balls don't count as legal balls, so they don't move the over on.

Shot direction and wagon wheel

After each scoring shot the app asks where the ball went, which builds the wagon wheel. In Scoring Settings you can turn off Enable Shot Selection or Enable Wagon Wheel, or switch off Show for 1s, 2s & 3s so you are only asked about boundaries. Turning them off makes scoring faster.
